TIMOTHY COWIN - LEAD PASTOR

Hi, I'm Timothy and I'm the Lead Pastor of The Rock Church. I am primarily responsible for overall leadership and for the teaching on Sundays. I have a passion to help people discover the blessing of having a growing relationship with God.

BASIC STUFF:

My wife Jill and I moved to St. Louis in 1998. We grew up in Missouri and have lived in Virginia, Arizona, Illinois, North Carolina and now Webster Groves. We certainly consider St. Louis our home and love this great city!

EDUCATION: B.S. in Political Science from SIU, Edwardsville; Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Wake Forest, N.C.), Doctor of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY).

FAMILY: The Lord has blessed Jill and I with three children- daughter Sarah and her husband Matt, daughter Caitlin and her husband CG, and our son Caleb. Sarah and Matt have propelled us into the amazing and underrated life of grandparents with Seth and Selah!

INTERESTS:

Traveling with Jill, connecting with and supporting ministry in Kenya and Uganda, Italian on the Hill, using the Clergy Pass to see the Cardinals, reading a good book.
